Hello everyone,
sometimes movies are created based on real life stories or events taken place.
Movies make us laugh, cry, hatred after watching them. As for me, I have
watched many movies as I am a movie mania. I often hit the cinema to watch any
movies being released on the very first day itself and I hate if others watch
them first and telling me the story. So annoying.(sigh) It’s not being selfish
or what, it’s just the pleasure that we get being the first to watch the movie.
I love watching movies from various languages like, Tamil, Hindi, Korean,
Chinese, Malay movies but I have a craze on watching English movies. You can
see me in the nearest cinema lining up to get the tickets on the very first day
it was release.(hihi) I can wait in long queues just to get the glimpse of what
the movie is all about. However, after having my son, things were difficult as
I can’t be dragging my son to the cinema but somehow I will get the pirated
version later (which I know it is forbidden to do, but can’t help it).
One of the best movies
I’ve watched was the Exorcist. I love
horror movies. I remembered watching in the CD, as those days watching movie in
the cinema was a bit difficult. My father did not have a car so going out was a
hassle to us. The movie was done back in the 70’s but I was taken back with the
creativity of the director for making the movie so real. The main character was
a 12 year old girl going through exorcism in the house which was acted by Linda Blair who is now in her midst 40’s.
At a very young age, I would say her acting was superb. To act in such way, a
person needs guts and she done it flawlessly. I was amazed on how she managed
to do her character well at 12. The movie was spooky and really scary. I remembered
watching it and afraid of going to the loo for few days. My brother had to
accompany me when I needed to do my nature calls.(Haahah).
Until today, I
can remember every bit of the movie and trust me people it is really first
class movie. No words to describe the movie. It was the best horror movie in
the century. They had Exorcist part 2 later on which was not as scary as the
first. The Exorcist was good and
after watching that movie I realized that exorcism exists. It depicts on how
people do worship to Satan which is a creepy thing to think about. It also
shows how we must believe in God in everything that we do as only God that
Satan fears off and only HE can solve the problem. I even bought a copy of the
movie as I find the plot of the movie was different compared to other ghost
movies. I remember watching other horror movies like Evil Dead, I know what you
did last summer but nothing can beat this movie.
Linda Blair’s
face still gives me the chill. I still have goose bumps thinking about
the movie. It was so frightening seeing how her body floated on the air and the masculine
voice she had. The best part was her head spinned to the back. It was impeccable. She was cursing throughout the movie which made
me shock as a 12 year old girl daringly saying those words. After all, it ‘s
just a movie. Really scary!!!! The movie even won many awards and I think the
movie deserves it. So to those who have not watched it, try watching it. I can
tell you, it is not easy to forget the face with scars and the gothic eyes.. seriously.
Really fabulous, marvelous, awe inspiring, spectacular movie , I should say..
